Refund policy

1. Trials and 1:1 tutor sessions

If you cancel a trial or a 1:1 tutor session before the cutoff shown on the listing page, the payment is refunded in full. The default cutoff is 12 hours before the session starts. A listing can set its own cutoff, so check the listing page.

2. Cancelling after the cutoff

If you cancel after the cutoff, or the learner does not show up to a 1:1 tutor session, the session fee goes to the teacher.

3. When the teacher or studio cancels

If the teacher or studio cancels a session, or a tutor does not show up, that session is refunded in full.

4. Monthly enrollment

Ending a monthly enrollment takes effect at the end of the paid period. The remaining days are not refunded pro rata.

5. Other cases

In other cases, Klass staff, or the teacher or studio within its own policy, decide on a full or partial refund.

6. How a refund is paid

Refunds are made by hand as a bank transfer and recorded in the ledger. The commission on the refunded amount is reversed.

7. Payments that are not refunded

Klass does not refund payments made in cash or outside Klass.
