Warning: A lawyer has not reviewed this yet

This text is a temporary version and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. This note goes away once it has been.

This notice is written to follow Mongolia's Law on Personal Data Protection.

1. What we collect

  • Account: name (optional), phone number, how you sign in (phone, Google, Facebook).
  • Learner: first name, birth year and month, gender (optional), interests, and notes for the teacher (for example allergies).
  • Activity: bookings, attendance, progress reports, messages, reviews, problem reports.
  • Payments: invoices, payment status, refunds. Payments are made with QPay.
  • Teachers, studios and centers: ID, selfie, certificates, bank account and register number.
  • Photos of children: uploaded only by guardians, or by providers who have a guardian's consent.
  • Technical logs: used for security and fixing errors. Phone numbers and names are masked in them.

2. Children's data

  • Children never sign in. We collect a child's data only with the guardian's explicit consent.
  • A teacher or studio sees only the first name and age of a child who is not enrolled with them.
  • Phone numbers stay hidden until enrollment.
  • Only a child's first name is sent to the AI service.

3. Who can see it

  • Teachers and studios: only learners enrolled with them.
  • Klass staff: within their role. Every staff action is logged.
  • Service providers: sign-in (Auth0), payments (QPay), notifications (SMS), AI and cloud hosting. They receive only what they need to provide the service.

4. Your rights

Request a copy of your data, or deletion of your account, from your account page. Klass completes the request within 30 days.

Deletion means anonymising the account and learners (name, phone and notes are removed). Invoices, payments and financial records cannot be changed, so they are kept, but are no longer linked to your personal details.

5. How long we keep data

Database backups are made daily and kept for 30 days. [Retention periods for other data to be set by a lawyer.]

6. Contact

[Contact details of the person responsible for data protection to be added.]

7. Changes
