Booking, paying with QPay, refunds, reporting a problem and managing your personal data: how Klass works, in short.
How to book a class
- Choose a club, course or private tutor from search. The listing page shows each group's schedule, open seats, price and the trial terms.
- Verify your phone number before your first booking. Adding a child as a learner needs your consent to store the child's details.
- Pick the group and the learner, then book a trial lesson or enrol. Children never log in; every booking is made through the guardian's account.
- Some listings enrol you at once. Others need the teacher or studio to approve first: after approval a payment link is sent and stays valid for 48 hours.
- If a group is full, join its waitlist. When a seat opens, the teacher or studio offers it to you by hand.
- For a private tutor, pick a free slot. After the tutor confirms (within 24 hours), you pay for the first lesson.
After you book
- The Schedule page shows every learner's lessons in one calendar. If you cannot attend, press "Report absence" before the lesson and the teacher or studio is notified.
- You can pause or end an enrolment. Ending takes effect at the end of the paid period, and the remaining days are not refunded pro rata.
- Talk to teachers and studios in Messages. Phone numbers stay hidden until you are enrolled.
Paying with QPay
- Every invoice is paid with QPay. On a computer, scan the QR code with your bank app; on a phone, your bank app opens directly.
- While you are on the payment page, Klass checks automatically that the payment arrived. If you close the page, Klass still reconciles with QPay every day.
- An invoice becomes "paid" once Klass has confirmed the payment with QPay itself. If you paid but the invoice has not changed after a few minutes, tell us through the Contact page.
- Find all invoices, and the receipt of paid ones, on the Invoices page. You get a reminder before the due date.
- After the due date passes, the invoice becomes "overdue". No late fee is added automatically; the teacher or studio decides whether the learner can keep attending.
- Payments are accepted through QPay only. Klass cannot refund money paid in cash or outside Klass.
Refunds
- Cancel a trial or private tutor lesson at least 12 hours before it starts and the payment is refunded in full. A listing can set its own deadline, so check the listing page.
- If the teacher or studio cancels a lesson, or a private tutor does not show up, that lesson is refunded in full.
- If you cancel after the deadline, or the learner does not show up to a private tutor lesson, the lesson fee goes to the tutor.
- In other cases, Klass staff or the teacher or studio decide on a full or partial refund within their own rules.
- Refunds are made by manual bank transfer.
Report a problem
- Report a safety, fraud or quality problem to Klass with the "Report a problem" button on the listing page. You need to be signed in.
- Choose the type (safety, fraud, quality) and describe what happened.
- Klass staff review it and reply. If needed they hide the listing or review and suspend the teacher temporarily.
- You can see what you sent and Klass's reply under "Reviews and reported problems" in your profile.
- In an emergency, call 102.
Personal data
- Children never log in. Teachers and studios see only the first name and age of children who are not enrolled with them.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for your account to be deleted, in the "Personal data" section of your profile.
- Klass answers the request within 30 days. You can follow its progress and reply there too.
- Payment history is kept in anonymised form.
